RoyalOS Public Integration Information
Google & YouTube integration
RoyalOS is a business operating platform with AI-assisted marketing, diagnostics, approvals, knowledge, research, records, and connected-service workflows. A business can connect its own YouTube account so RoyalOS can review authorized channel activity and provide marketing diagnostics and recommendations inside that business's RoyalOS workspace.
What the YouTube connection does
- • Identifies the YouTube channel the user explicitly authorizes.
- • Reads channel and video information available through the authorized YouTube API.
- • Reviews channel statistics, recent content, publishing activity, and diagnostic signals.
- • Uses that information to create user-facing marketing diagnostics and recommendations.
- • Keeps the connection scoped to the applicable RoyalOS organization and Brand.
What this permission does not do
- • It does not upload or publish YouTube videos.
- • It does not edit or delete YouTube videos, comments, or channel settings.
- • It does not give RoyalOS access to the user's Gmail inbox.
- • It does not authorize RoyalOS to act outside the user-facing YouTube diagnostic feature.
- • RoyalOS does not request a YouTube write scope for this read-only feature.
Least-privilege OAuth access
RoyalOS requests the YouTube read-only scope because the connected diagnostic feature needs authorized access to the user's selected YouTube account and channel information. RoyalOS currently submits only the read-only YouTube permission required by this feature, rather than requesting upload, edit, delete, Gmail, Drive, or other unrelated Google permissions.
User control
The user chooses whether to connect YouTube. The connection can be disconnected in RoyalOS, and the user can also revoke RoyalOS access from their Google Account.
Data protection
OAuth credentials are kept server-side, encrypted before persistence, and protected by authenticated organization and Brand authorization checks. Network traffic uses HTTPS/TLS in production.
Tenant isolation
Connected-service records are scoped to the applicable RoyalOS organization and Brand so one customer's connection is not used as another customer's authorization.
Example user-facing workflow
An authorized user selects a Brand in RoyalOS, opens Marketing → Connections, chooses YouTube, completes Google's OAuth consent flow, and returns to RoyalOS. The user can then open Emmy's 24/7 Diagnostics and run a YouTube diagnostic. RoyalOS reads the authorized channel information and displays the resulting channel health, activity evidence, and marketing recommendations to that user.
Privacy, terms, and support
RoyalOS's Privacy Policy describes how Google user data is accessed, used, protected, retained, shared, deleted, and revoked. The Terms of Service explain the responsibilities that apply when using RoyalOS and third-party connected services.
